$working?

The distance gives me latitude for sure, but I think the subject’s movement, timing, clothing made for a cleaner and smoother time layering this all together.

$maybe maybe maybe flying to NY

1. I’m glad I’m trusting my eye for focusing at longer distances, but I guess the margin for error is somehow slimmer at closer distance

2. These are my favorite photos of 2023 so far, and I thought that before I found out one made it up in Times freakin Square

3. With all the black, I need to be more careful with how much I squeegee and let dry the sheet.

Thanks to Sophie.

DG Writers Workshop 1

$the ambiguity of my age is living rent-free atm

1. Even though this round was more of a test round, I should’ve switched up the pose more instead of letting happen two instances of propping up the chin

2. Glad Sam brought up the concern/question about how he should look when smiling, and glad I was decisive about just not smiling

3. Lighting in this part of the library worked at ~1pm. It’s on the eastern side, however, but with overhead ambient lighting from south-facing windows. I’ll probably bring a light for the next four writers’ shots.

4. My fingers are no subsitute for a hairbrush, but also I still dig it.

5. Looks like the developer shows signs of exhaustion at listed capacity (looking at front facing photo, specifically at the bottom of the chair).

Thanks to Sam.

$isn’t this how Kong Skull Island started?

1. Captain 🍑

2. Alex was backlit, but his face blends with the sky (I think). So I wonder if I had underexposed/silhouetted him instead.

3. Grandpa’s Floater really drifted to the left faster than I expected

4. The mostly profile shot of Katie makes me feel like I took a photo for a magazine ad about perfume

5. In hindsight, maybe my risk tolerance was a lil much that morning

Thanks to Katie, Alex, and Harrison.

$cupcakes cause this goober cramps

1. If his wife showed up for volleyball, we could’ve put her on the right. Just saying, Harrison.

2. The contrast is kinda harsh, but I think I nailed it running along the half of his nose bridge, neck, and shirt.

Thanks to Harrison, for being born.
