ANALOG VS DIGITAL?
I’m still figuring this one out. For now I’ll say: even if my wallet wasn’t a factor, I’d still be selective shooting analog outside of testing stocks or techniques or whatnot. Somewhat paradoxically, digital ends up being more work because I can just let it rip and then be forced to cull through the consequences of all my impulsive decisions and then follow through on editing the decisions among those decisions.
BLACK & WHITE VS COLOR?
My graduate degree can be directly applicable for once if I map out my indifference curve, which is to say: I will never have a decisive preference.
EDITING?
It’s inevitable? But yes, I shamelessly shoot preset color graded JPEGs. Where x represents the level of taking myself seriously, then if x > 0, I will shoot RAW and try to edit. Otherwise, I will be lazy and commit as much as possible to the same bit for a test, a project, a trip, etc.
